In these verses we see "[[Israel]] is my son, even my [[firstborn]]" This is where [[Israel]] is specified as the [[children of God]] and they become the [[firstborn]] of a nation and the [[world]].
 
It was the [[firstborn]] are to be [[priest]] in each [[family]] and the same precept is applied to all nations.<Ref>[[Exodus 19]]:6  And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These [are] the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

In these verses we see "Israel is my son, even my firstborn" This is where Israel is specified as the children of God and they become the firstborn of a nation and the world.

This took place when the people were called out of the walled-in camp of the Golden calf by Moses, and most of those who came out were from one tribe. These people who came out first were separated[4] from the main body of the nation in several ways, and for particular purposes.[5]

By Jewish tradition, a Levite was a member of the Hebrew tribe of Levi, which became a unique part of a political structure with some limited "corporate elements"[6] not seen in the rest of the government of Israel but used in the formation of a national community and society.
