Modern Israel

Yes, the nation or the people which is often called the Jews has had a presence in the land called Palestine or Israel today for a long, long time.

The place has also been called Palestine but was less united under the Ottoman empire and through 17th and 18th centuries (1601–1801) was mostly Muslim due to the spread of the Muslim religion by force and often persecutions by Muslims of none Muslims.

In 1850 the population was only about 340,000. After that the population began to slowly grow. The majority in Jerusalem were Christians and Jews.

The Tanzimat reforms in 1839 of the Turks allowed people like Jews to move about with at least "the rhetorical promotion of equality of non-Muslims with Muslims on paper vs. the primacy of Muslims in practice".

During World War I the Ottoman authorities deported many Jews with foreign citizenship, while others left after they were presented with a choice of taking Ottoman citizenship or leaving Palestine. They often waited for the end of the war to return.

More and more Jews began to return during the British Mandate era period, 1919–1948, where the population almost doubled with the vast majority being Jews. These numbers were very high from 1920 until the beginning of WW II until the end.

The government

As a government Israel of ancient times has had its ups and downs. At times it walked in the way of Abraham, the man of faith and even followed Moses, the man sent by God to set them free from the bondage of Egypt.

Yet, the modern state of Israel as a matter of political policies and practices violates almost every principle of good government as taught by Moses. The same is true of Arab and Muslim governments abandoning the way of Abraham.

You may wonder how this is true since the both claim those men as their origin?[1]

Modern Israel like many of the jews over the centuries strayed from the teaching of the prophets while imaging their righteousness and have and may bring degeneration and destruction themselves and others.

To çlaim to be a follower of Abraham or Moses while doing contrary to their teachings and ways is not only apostasy but hypocrisy. The same would be true of any religion including Modern Christians.

Being a Jew or an Israelite was never about race. From the beginning many bloodlines including the Egyptians who left Egypt with them have mixed with those who might be called the children of God. From the beginning the twelve brothers were not merely marrying their sisters and cousins.

There might be a traceable bloodline for the king, the Messiah or Christ but to be a child of God you just have to be obedient.

Being the seed of Abraham or the children of God was not merely a bloodline nor race but it was about faith or being faithful to the way taught by the prophets who explained the Covenant that was to be written in our heart and mind and we were not to make any Covenants with the gods where we go.

Unfortunately, many people who call themselves Jews or even Christians have done just that because of Sophistry. The warnings about deception is not limited to thr Old Testament[2] but also in the New Testament.[3]

Primary errors

One of the primary errors of societies throughout history and certainly Israel and Judea were not mounted to the error of Balaam.[4]

The problem was and has always been the implementation of a welfare system of civil benefactors or the tables of rulers which provide gifts, gratuities and benefits through civil powers of the state.

The warnings of Scripture about these dainties of rulers was explicit concerning an appetite for such welfare because it was a snare and a trap to say nothing of the fact it would degenerate the people.

"Legal charity" eroded the "family" becoming accustomed to an appetite for benefits and fed the "sloth" and "avarice" which dimmed the eyes and seared the conscience of the people by replacing the "righteousness" of a "daily ministration" through the practice of "pure Religion" with a "public religion" of a "social welfare" through the power of the State which "exercises authority" instead of the 'fervent charity" Taught by Moses, preached by the prophets, John the Baptist, and found in the "doctrine of Jesus."

Prior error

Even before the replacement of the freewill offerings prescribed by Moses upon his living "Altars" of "adamic clay" and "living Levite stones" there was a return to the bondage of Egypt and the error of the Graven images and precept of a Golden calf which was a central bank with the issuing of unjust weights and measures.

Consitutional oversight

And then there is the matter of governmental forms stipulated in Moses' explanations of what should be layer out in a constitution if the people desire to designate an executive office such as king, president, or priminister.

There are at least five provisions that should be present in any constitution of the people for that government less the people return to a corvee system of statutory servitude to the state like the bondage of Egypt.

If we examine Deuteronomy 17 it should be evident that there should be limitations on the power of government to create institution that would undermine the liberty of the individual or tempt them to rule over their neighbors in a democracy or to engage in the covetous practices that might make them human resources and even curse children or worse cause thr children to no more ought for their parents because of a "corban" like than instituted by Herod and the [[Phariseess]).

Many More to come

  1. Out of love I will try to write some of the reasons why but they can be found in detail throughout my writings, for the same error is found today among the Modern Christian. Brother Gregory
  2. Deceived in the First testament
Genesis 3:13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What [is] this [that] thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me <05377>, and I did eat.
Genesis 27:12 My father peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver <08591>; and I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.
    Deuteronomy 11:16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
Proverbs 1:10 My son, if sinners entice <06601> thee, consent thou not.
  3. Many deceived
Matthew 24:5 "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many... 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Mark 13:6 "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."
Luke 21:8 "And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them."
2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
2 Peter 2:2 "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not."
  4. The way of error
    2 Peter 2:15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam [the son] of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
Jude 1:11 "Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. 12 These are spots(not "unspotted" like Pure Religion) in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds [they are] without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;"
Revelation 2:14-17 "But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication ("to permit one’s self to be drawn away by another into idolatry"). 15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. 16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. 17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth [it]."
Ezekiel 16:49 "Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy."
