Non-participation
Non-Participation And Decentralization As Primers For Revolution Wednesday, 12 February 2014 04:16 Brandon Smith
Is an interesting article that advocates the approach of Non-participation.
He begins by everyone talking about silver bullet solutions or someone else doing it for them while they merely sit back and complain. That of course is not the way freedom works.
He makes it clear that there is a problem with our dependence on the very government that people thinks has to much power. He has merely stumbled upon the truth spoken of for thousands of years by wise men and prophets.
“The real destroyers of the liberties of the people is he who spreads among them bounties, donations and benefits.” Plutarch
Why because a society based on covetousness is n0t based on love.
Proverbs 23:1-3 When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what [is] before thee: And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite. Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.
There is a simple solution.
Simple does not mean quick, easy or cheap.
He is not the first to discover it but history has shown over the centuries when man finds himself in bondage and subject to tyrants or growing tyranny it is the only solution. Men must change by becoming the change they wish to see in others.
Before I mention the great success of history who set whole nations free and how simple it was to do it lets revisit our terminology used in describing the problem.
The problem is not Big Brother.
The problem is who is your sugar Daddy?
Making your government your Daddy to run to or apply to to obtain benefits every time you need help has been advised against throughout the ages. To many people have excepted the notion that government is their great Benefactor.
In truth the government of the world is not a benefactor because it never gives you anything it has. It only gives you what it takes away from someone else. The nature of that covetous attitude of society was warned against too.
So the modern rulers of government call themselves Benefactors but they exercise authority one over the other have made the people human resources, surety for debt, literally merchandise.
That very famous individual who told His followers that they were not to be that way was just teaching what another man had done over a thousand years before to free a whole nation from a condition almost identical to the present.
I spent the last half century learning and writing about the solution that has worked before and those books are all obtainable for free online at the preparingyou.com Network.
Today people claiming to be the followers of these men go to men who call themselves Benefactors but they exercise authority one over the other for almost everything from education to health care to social security of almost every kind.
In fact He and those who came before and after him for centuries told us that the system of social welfare set up by government and supported by taxes made His word to none effect. That system was called Corban.
The man's name was Yeshua who we know as Jesus. He told us to not covet and to come together in love providing for one another with charity. His predecessor told us to share rather than force our neighbor to give to us.
So, it is not enough to simply not take the benefits of men who exercise authority. You must become the benefactors of society through what is called the perfect law of liberty. Yes we have to learn to stand independent but also together. There is a simple way to do that and it has been done before in history but that story will not be taught in public schools.
We are familiar with those stories but they are never taught in the true context of history. The truth will set you free but you will have to apply that truth yourself. We will link to your article. We need to repent which means turn around and go the other way.
It is the story of Moses who freed thousands while they paid their taxes but stopped applying to the Pharaoh for their benefits. The gleaned amongst themselves for their benefits that were provided through charity in a network of people that began to figure out how to operate in a free society. This was little different than what Abraham was doing after he left Ur and Haran but most people have no idea what his altars were and how they worked.
The same of John the Baptist and Jesus and the early Church. They provided all the social welfare for their network of small intimate congregations where they learned to care about one another as much as they cared about themselves.
The early Christians were not like Modern Christians. They were so united and self disciplines they thrived during the Decline and fall of the Roman empire. Historians called them a viable republic in the heart of the Roman Empire with no central leader ruling over them,
So what was Abraham, Moses, John, Jesus and the early Church really doing.
