False claim[1], Paul Says The Pharisees Followed The Law Rigorously, But Jesus Says They Were Lax About The Law

  1. Paul Says The Pharisees Followed their version of the Law Rigorously. But again Paul is arguing against those who unmoore the spiritual meaning of the law and reduce laws concerning things like, as an example, the Sabbath, reducing it to a day rather than a way, or altars as the ancient system of freewill offerings and Corban being reduced to a system of modern social welfare by taxation rather than tithes. Modern Christians, like the author of these false claims -- who does not know Christ -- agree to have things reduced and unmoored in this manner.
