Nethinim

Nethinim[1] us the name given to the hereditary temple servants meaning "those set apart", to assist the work of the sanctuary for the Levites who were responsible for the social safety net of God's intentional community. For societies to remain free and preserve the way of liberty the social bonds of the people needed to be nurtured to to keep Israel healthy.

Nethinim[1] is from the word nathan[2] נָתַן‎ defined "to give, put, set".
