The book Zealot by self-proclaimed expert[1] Reza Aslan begs the question "Was Jesus a Zealot?"

A zealot has become a person who is fanatical and uncompromising in pursuit of their religious, political, or other ideals. But historically he was a member of an ancient Jewish sect aiming at a world Jewish theocracy and resisting the Romans until AD 70.
