In November, I experienced a heart attack. A cardiologist inserted 2 stents in my right ventricle artery as it was blocked. The doctor who assumed care of me prescribed several pharmacueticals which I took for about the first 30 days after the event.

But I have a very strong aversion to taking synthetic drugs and began a journey to research deeply alternative supplements for each of the drugs that had been prescribed.

Following is a list of the drugs I was prescribed and the alternatives I chose to replace them with:

Synthetic Drug|Natural Alternative

Prevastatin (Any Statin Drug)Prescribed for Cholesterol Polycosanol/CoQ10 – 2 at night These can be obtained in combination or taken separately.

Metaprolol Prescribed for Blood Pressure Cardio Ease – 2 in morning and 2 at night. Niacin (be sure no flush) 1 in morning. Valerian Root 1 in morning and 1 at night.

Plavix Stops Clotting of Blood Turmeric/Bromalain - 1 in the morning. Can be obtained in combination or taken separately. Serrepeptase – 2 in the morning and 1 at night. Nattokinase – 1 between meals.

Aspirin to Thin the Blood Pine Bark – 1 in the morning. Gingko Biloba – 1 in the morning and 1 at night.

Strong General Heart Support:

Vitamin K – 1 in the morning. Super II (a mild all natural laxative/fiber) 1 in the morning and 1 at night. St. John's Wort – For moods.

Magnesium – 1 in the morning. (VERY IMPORTANT to control Calcium which forms plaque. CoQ10 – 1 in the morning. D-3 – 3-5 in the morning. Vitamin E for general purposes.

I also take a product from Herbal Healer Academy called Mycostat – 1 in the morning and 1 at night. I take it for fungal infections that could arise.

I also take a mixture of Ascorbic Acid (powder) mixed with Baking Soda in the morning to promote reattachment of gums to teeth.
