Roman-era bronze coin dating back 1,850 years, depicting the moon goddess Luna, the first such find in Israeli waters.

The coin minted in Alexandria in present-day Egypt featuring the zodiac sign Cancer below Luna and the era's Roman emperor, Antoninus Pius, on the other side, was discovered by archaeologists with the Israel Antiquities Authority during explorations off Haifa in northern Israel.

dated "year eight," referring to the eighth year of Antoninus Pius's rule, which ran from 138 to 161, part of an era known as Pax Romana, when there was relative peace throughout the Roman Empire.

Last year, Israeli researchers displayed third-century Roman coins and a Roman-era golden ring with an early Christian symbol for Jesus inscribed in its gemstone, found in a shipwreck off the ancient port of Caesarea.

The thick octagonal gold ring with its blue green gemstone bore the figure of the "Good Shepherd" in the form of a young shepherd boy in a tunic with a ram or sheep across his shoulders.

In truth every squirrel who gathers nuts, every bird that makes its nest, and every dung beetle who rolls his dung is a capitalist.

"The squirrel hoards nuts, and the bee gathers honey, without knowing what they do, and they are thus provided for without selfishness or disgrace." The Transcendentalist, Ralph Waldo Emerson.

If you did not know that capitalism is the primary force in producing life then you probably do not know what capitalism is.

"It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong." [[Thomas Sowell ]]

"What is our purpose? In simple terms, to look like Christ 100% TOGETHER! If we aim for any other bullseye we will miss the mark."

I hear people repeat these types of Christian platitudes but I believe we need to clarify what that would look like. James tells us James 2:18 "Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?"

The Bible should be read in the context of the scriptures. Certainly John's account of being born again should be read in the context of John. You are only born again if you loveth the light and if you do evil deeds that God hateth then you also must in fact hateth the light.

"John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved." so, that alone testifies ye are not born again and are in need of repentance and have not had your eye on Jesus.

Jn. 17:3 "This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent."

1 Jn. 3:14 "We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death."
