Darkness and light

John 9:41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

Darkness is the absence of light as a lie is the rejection of the whole truth.

"This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." 1 John 1:5

Darkness has no power against the light except what it can take through deception.

Evil is what occurs in the absence of love of Christ who is the way, the truth and the light.

You are not born again if you still deny the truth and the way of righteousness and love the wages of unrighteousness.

"In truth, it has been the our abandonment of the righteousness of God's one form of government for the wages of unrighteousness and dainties of rulers, fathers of the earth and benefactors who exercise authority in and of the world that has made us blind and vulnerable to the despotic spirits of darkness, like the "Corban of the Pharisees that has made the word of God to none effect"."

You may have to be a friend to the unrighteous mammon but you should not cultivate an appetite for the dainties of rulers, nor pray to the men who call themselves benefactor for their "free bread".

"Polybius warned the Masses of having an appetite for benefits of rulers in 150 BC. But Proverbs warned about the same danger from the Dainties of rulers even earlier than that. David and Paul warned us of the tables of those men who exercise authority one over the other. In fact, John the Baptist, Jesus the Christ, and all the apostles gave us similar warnings. Coveting those benefits and engaging in those practices which are not cast up which snare men like merchandise and curse children with the captivity of the bondage of Egypt.

Supposedly, Manichaeism presented an elaborate description of the conflict between the spiritual world of light and the material world of darkness. Both the world of darkness and the world of light were given names. There are numerous sources for the details of the Manichaean belief. The flaw in creation which was not caused by God but which constituted rather the product of a battle by the devil against God.
