PCM checklist

The early Church in its most general sense was a network of free assemblies bound together only by love for one another through the perfect law of liberty. They voluntarily organized themselves in the Tens, hundreds and thousands as Christ "commanded" establishing a daily ministration through faith, hope and charity.

An individual in the public network who is on record as a congregant may become a Personal Contact Minister with their own page at preparingyou.com if they are a viable member of an active congregation and two people within the living network of congregations believe that the individual will do the job of a Personal Contact Minister and one of those two witnesses is the minister of their chosen congregation.

Like a Minister of Record a PCM should keep records of information about those who chose them as a personal contact minister and some information about everyone on their local Network Group.

  1. Personal information
    1. Age, married, children
    2. Health
    3. special needs
  2. FEMA resources [Faith Emergency Ministry Auxiliary]
    1. Skills, talents and abilities (Keep records)
    2. Resources, tools, equipment, accommodations(Keep records)
    3. Create the HHC Living Network's sharing with love in a network of families.
  3. Personal and contact information (Keep records)
    1. phone numbers, address,
    2. family and other people living in their house
    3. alternative and additional friends, neighbors, relatives and contacts
  4. They should maintain communication with those electors
    1. Once a month or even once a week
    2. By email or phone or through other members of their network
    3. They should encourage other members of their groups to learn about each other
    4. Set up meetings if possible
    5. Work together to find others in their area.
    6. They should work to promote and facilitate regional and national and even international gatherings.
  5. They should maintain communication with other PCM and Ministers of Record [MOR]
    1. Regular communication by email and or by phone (Keep records)
    2. Meet-ups at every opportunity with other ministers (Keep records)
    3. Learm abut each others abilities and skills, reliability and integrity through action
    4. Work together to find others possible ministers.
    5. Help train fellow ministers by doing.
  6. They should try to get other volunteers elected as Contact ministers
    1. Keep a list of local volunteers
    2. Learn about volunteers and develop personal knowledge
    3. Encourage people to elect other volunteers
  7. Keep a list of those who have not picked a contact minister
    1. Share their own electors with other PCM volunteers to get them elected.
    2. PCMs in one region each volunteer to participate in another region's forum as a PCM liaison to share
  8. Communicate with regular updates of their local area's

Ultimately everyone should become a congregant in a CORE group with a Minister of Record who will take over the duties of the PCM. All PCMs should be in a CORE group.

[All active Ministers of Record qualify as "Contact Minister".]

A new commandment

"A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." John 13:34

Becoming a PCM by the election of the people who honestly choose you to help them seek the kingdom by connecting with others becomes a starting point which will bears witness to people's intent to participate in a living network where everyone must care as much about their neighbor's rights and welfare as they do their own. Congregations too must care as much about their own people as they do those in other congregations, states or nations. This is the character of Christ and the image of God.

"This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you." John 15:12

Each Contact Minister should learn about the other Contact Ministers both near and far and about the people they serve in the whole network and not just their local group. They should share with other contact ministers their personal intent and opinions about the teachings of Christ, His Church and the Network to determine how to best serve the whole Network as well as what they are doing locally.

"These things I command you, that ye love one another." John 15:17

They should constantly strive to assist in the education of the individual and encouraging their relationship with each other and the whole network. They should diligently strive to build lines of communication, charity, forgiveness, thanksgiving and sharing locally. with neighboring Contact Ministers and throughout the whole Living Network.

"Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." Matthew 5:9

Personally they should share information about their own skills and knowledge, and most important about their intent, purpose, and position in relationship to the whole Church and others, so that they may serve the Living Network better. They should be desirous of knowing about the other Contact Ministers in the Network and want them to know about where they stand on the precepts upon precept that God's kingdom is built.

More about being a Contact Minister

What is the purpose and duties of a Contact Minister?

When a Contact Minister is established by two or more witnesses their purpose is to help people make contact with others like themselves who are seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. A PCM is someone who comes to serve Christ by helping elders and their family gather together so they can serve one another in love like the early Church. By performing this unselfish service to others they become students of the ways of Christ and the early Church.

Many ways:

  • The Contact Minister should be diligently linked with other contact ministers so that they could:
    • Form a safety net of contacts to offer assistance in broader area and around the world.
    • Protect private contact information from abuse by others who seek to spy out our liberty.
    • Establish a physical network that reaches beyond the availability of the internet and their local area.
      • Devise new and better ways to network together in regular communication.
      • Form Faith Emergency Ministry Auxiliaries within a team effort with all congregations of record.
      • Seek to find others who would hear the message of the Kingdom and live the righteousness of God.
      • They should diligently seek to connect others with other groups as much as they seek it for their own group.
  • Two or more contact ministers [usually not more than 12] would pick a contact minister who would gather and communicate together as often as they can with common goals:
    • Bringing all sincere people into a wider and wider network of righteousness, trust and honor in love and liberty,
    • Bless all as benefactors who do not exercise authority through love, faith and charity.
    • Arbitrate openly in accord with the terms and procedures of the Church from the beginning with forgiveness, seeking mutual accord and building trust,
    • Without loosing the freedom of the Early Church or sight of the Kingdom of God.

Some of the don'ts

  • See the purposes and guidelines of the forum.
    • Do not engage in arguments ... over private interpretations, man made eschatology...
      • Respect the differing opinions of those who come to the forum.
      • Be patient with those who are still carrying baggage and burdensome beliefs.
      • There are other email groups for those who want to indulge in debates.
    • Posting diatribes and news items that are not used to bolster the network.
    • This is a Church Network and should be used to promote the purposes of Christ.
    • Which does not promote fear but salvation and solutions.

Warnings and limitations Please Remember

  • Electing yourself or your immediate family members does not count toward the required two witnesses.
  1. Putting people up to elect you who are not seeking to be a part of the network as it is intended is dishonest.
  2. Withdrawal of an electors testimony may also remove eligibility as a contact minister.
  3. It is important to have more electors than just two.
  4. Being elected as a personal contact minister will not give full access within the network automatically.
  5. Contact Ministers must agree to the guidelines and purpose as listed for these HHC forums.
  6. Contact Ministers must give evidence by participation that they are in compliance with the purposes and terms of being a Personal Contact Minister to the satisfaction of this Living Network.
  7. Failure to convince this network of compliance with the terms of this web service offered by HHC may result in the removal of a contact minister from this service provided by the Church until such time as they are again in agreement and in full compliance with the "purposes".[5]

Why PCMs instead of a directory

Rather than put up a directory of everyone who wants to get into contact with others who come to our websites what we do is get in contact with someone who volunteers to be a PCM, Personal Contact Minister.

They have access to who is on the groups and should work to protect the identity of those seeking to gather together.

It stands to reason that everyone on these groups are not good people.

A PCMs job is to connect and protect.

We are dedicated to these purposes.

== Footnotes ==
  1. This will end any confusion, Allow every PCM a chance to participate without duplicating effort, Offer quick responses to new equerries while we share the load. Let others lurkers on the group know there is activity behind the scenes they might know about if they would get involved, It will also keep PCMs informed when people join multiple groups which can be suspicious.
  2. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
  3. A volunteer may be listed on the contact minister page if they are sponsored by another PCM, provide a photograph, detailed contact information, and a blurb as to why they wish to serve as a PCM.
  4. The election must be by people of different families.
  5. 1 Timothy 3:10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being [found] blameless.
