The Right of Self-determination

The Philosophy of Liberty Time 8:18

The Philosophy of Liberty video is missing a very important element of society which makes much of it invalid.

What is it missing?

The video is focused upon the principle of SELF-OWNERSHIP.

Many such videos ask the question “Have you ever stopped to ask yourself the question who owns you?”

It states you own your life.

But do you own yourself?

Did you create yourself?

Even if you want to deny that God gave you life, there is natural evidence that you did not create yourself nor your own life.

You did not spontaneously appear in a vacuum.

As the video states, you exist in time, past, present and future.

You have no right to your original means of production. You were not only created but procreated, and you required a great deal of care and labor before you reached the age of majority.

Even if no one mentions the Ten Commandments and the obligation to honor your father and mother, by natural law alone a man is born in debt, and that debt increases to those who sustain and nurture his life with every step and breath he takes.

The video tells you that “no other person or group of persons owns your life”.

This is not really true either.

Again, even if you discount God in this equation, your parents own you.

Your property is the product of your life, and you are the product and property of your parents.

The only one who contests that in law is the State, and that is because the State claims a right to you, usually because the parents enlisted the State to help care for you.

When the State did that, it took over part of the responsibilities of the parent, and then part of the rights to your life became the State's interests, duties and investments.

Some day your parents may choose to manumit you from their custody and control, and or they will die. At that point, you will be released from their first right over your life. But the State as a Golem, corporate entity, may not die. If it had obtained a right to your life - either through your parents or through their parents - your life may not be your own.

Lock's statement that "Every man has a property in his own person. This no one has a right to, but himself." can be misleading if we do not understand that debt is also property. Property may be the fruit of your labor, but debt may be the fruit of your covetous practices. We may inherit the property and the debt of our parents.

The video talks about people sometimes using force or fraud to take the life and liberty or even the property of others without consent. But a man's life, liberty and property exist in time, past, present and future, from generation to generation.

The video tells you the truth, but it does not tell you the whole truth, and anything less than the whole truth is a lie. The truth is that your rights or lack of rights and obligations are passed from generation to generation. Through the actions of generations and likely even yourself, you have been entangled again in the elements of the world. The recorded applications for benefits, elements and deeds of that entanglement includes what is called a social contract. The action of the people in the bondage of Egypt caused their children to be born in bondage.

They could become free again, but they had to learn to take care of themselves and their whole society through faith, hope and charity and the perfect law of liberty before they could become free.

The early Christians did the same thing, after Jesus appointed to them a kingdom. The people were told, by John the Baptist and Jesus who was the Christ, to seek the Kingdom of God which was at hand and the righteousness of God, and all else would be restored to them. They did this by not applying to the Fathers of the earth and the Benefactors who exercised authority one over the other, and by providing a daily ministration through that network of faith, hope and charity and the perfect law of liberty.

Right of Self-determination

Self-determination denotes the legal right of people to decide their own destiny in the international order.

The right of nations or peoples to self-determination is a fundamental principle in modern international law, and it is binding, as such, on the United Nations Charter.

It states that nations have the right to freely choose their sovereignty and international political status with no external compulsion or interference. There are obstacles to a nation simply altering its status because it chooses so. Even the Revolutionary war did not remove national debt owed Great Britain.

An individual may dissolve the bands which have connected them to another, but they may not just dissolve debt. We have offered the book the Covenants of the gods free for years so that people can get a grasp on what they are facing during any attempt at self-determination. We also offer the book Thy Kingdom Comes to show what has been done in the past to work toward a free society where people remain at liberty to make the most choices about their own lives.

Liberty is not merely doing what ever you want, but the liberty to choose to do what you think is best for you and the rest of society. Understanding The Higher Liberty is essential amongst a people that wishes to remain both strong and free.

Ancient philosophers and prophets of many cultures and peoples have written and spoken about these principles of a free society since the dawn of man.

These principles are traced back prior to the Atlantic Charter[1], signed on 14 August 1941, by Franklin D. Roosevelt, President of the United States of America, and Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Self-determination is protected in the United Nations Charter and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights as a right of “all peoples.”

While in essence there is an individual right to self determination, most of these principles are talking about the right of nations and peoples.

Back in 2010 and 2011, we were in contact with a number of people who found The Right of Self-determination website, which is supposedly selling secret information about individual self determination. At least one of the people who brought it to our attention is still doing federal time. He may get out in 4 more years.

Meanwhile, you can still send in your 27 dollars a month to the owners of the site to get access to the website and all the secret information that will supposedly help you get an "education about the problems associated with Status and Lifestyle". They claim they will "assist you in learning about STANDING and becoming a SELF DETERMINATE BEING.....if that is what you "choose"."

If they get 100 people, that means he will be getting 2700 dollars a month. If he gets 200 people that means over 5000 a month, etc.

What people are trying to accomplish with this self determination was offered by Jesus and John the Baptist. It was called the kingdom of God, which is from generation to generation for the Doers of the Word and those who will attend to the Weightier matters of law, judgement, mercy and Faith.

There are benefits to society, and they come to society in one of two ways.

Jesus came to set you free:

  • He said seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness.
  • He said strive.
  • He said persevere
  • He said keep the commandments
  • He said make no covenants.
  • Don't covet

That means you cannot covet your neighbor's goods or make contracts to get benefits that are provided by a ruler who takes from your neighbor.

  • You have contracted and coveted ... done that.
  • Your parents did that too.
  • They and you went to Church, but you folks never provided a Daily ministration based on faith, hope and charity and the Perfect law of liberty.

And SO ... Those covetous practices and slothful ways leaves a whole lot of "room for government interference" in your life.

What people have been doing and not doing has bound them, and if they want to be free, they have to ... TURN AROUND ... REPENT... go back and do what they did not do, and stop doing what they have been doing, WHICH THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER DONE.

  • 2 Peter 2:3 "And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not."

That is pretty clear!

  • Psalms 69:22 "Let their table become a snare before them: and [that which should have been] for [their] welfare, [let it become] a trap."

  • Romans 11:9 "And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:"

I do not know how many times it has been said, nor I will have to say it, but I will probably have to say it again. :-)

This sloth and avarice is why you are cursed...

Go the other way... stop trying to free your self... serve yourself... learn to serve... really serve... laying down your life daily...

Having a family can start teaching you that, but you have never done that to serve others...

That is why Israel went into bondage, and it is why you are again entangled in the yoke of bondage where there is "room for government interference".

You have the right to fly too, but flapping your arms wont get you off the ground.

Here are a few recordings made at that time.

5/14/11 Snake Oil Salesmen - MUST HEAR episode!
Keys of the Kingdom radio broadcast May 14, 2011

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! - Are your ministers preaching this? There is another king - one Jesus, Pentecost in the New Testament, "Church" in Black's Law Dictionary, What the heck is "Corban"?, Social Security in Christ's time, Public Education?, Are you bound by debt or are you a thief?, How to get free..., Snake oil salesmen, The Right of Self-determination, Pirates, Where does government get your benefits?, Egypt today, "The Way", What Abraham, Moses, and Christ had in common, "Socialist Christian" = oxymoron, Making the word of God to none effect, "Accepting" Jesus vs the idea of Jesus, How the charlatans react to the light, Land Patents, Sovereigns without Subjects, Family Guardian, Who are the police?, WWJD?, Blaspheming the Holy Spirit, How to build the Kingdom, Most haven't heard yet, HHC is not a stage show, Temples then and now, Social Security across the world, It must come from YOU, Working it out with fear and trembling, "Theology" won't get you into the Kingdom, Christ wants DOers, Signs in the sun, Are you ready?, Have you prepared - for others?, Where are the grain reserves?, Can it happen here?, Are we acting like Foolish virgins?, Think Kingdom!

So I must ask
Abraham, Moses, John the Baptist and Jesus and the early Church advocated a Daily ministration that was dependent on Charity only and it was not like the system of Corban of the Pharisees and Rome.
  • Do you only gather for the comfort it gives you, or do you gather to benefit others?
  • Christ came to serve, not be served. Do you desire to be served or are you coming in His name and according to His character to serve others?

If we desire His Grace but we only love those who love us then there is no Grace because it is clear we do not really believe in Him.

If we do not Repent of our Covetous Practices and are not diligently gathering together in Free Assemblies of Love for all to provide for one another in Charity according to the Perfect law of liberty then we have nothing according to Paul. According to Luke 6:32 if we only love those who love us there is no "Grace". Christ also said if you do not Forgive neither will the Father forgive you.[2]

It is not enough to hate the deeds of the workers of iniquity, but we must return to Thy first love and thy first work. To break the yoke we need to return to the ways of righteousness spoken of in Isaiah 58 which are the ways of Christ and the early Church. And His yoke is light for it is carried by our love of one another.

Abraham, Moses, John the Baptist and Christ all created Networks of charity to care for the true needy of society without force which is how they were able to help set people free. Do you gather with His Church to attend to the Weightier matters as Christ said?

  • Are you gathering in a Network of righteousness?
  • Do you come to love others or just be loved?

Early Christians found themselves in conflict with these systems of social welfare because they made the word of God to none effect. Christians had repented of their covetous nature when they received the Baptism of Christ. They heard and became Doers of the word not hearers only.

Remember Proverbs 12:24, "The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the Slothful shall be under Tribute."

We know that liberty under God is not for the covetous who are Biting one another but it is also not for the slothful. If we are not congregating together in free assemblies bound together in a broad network by faith, hope, and charity alone according to the perfect law of liberty then we are not truly seeking the Kingdom of God nor His righteousness., and are you attending to the Weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith which include caring for the needs of our neighbors and the widows and orphans of our society through Pure Religion in matters of health, education, and welfare. We are NOT to do so by the Covetous Practices of modern governments.

The Way of Christ was like neither the way of the world nor the governments of the gentiles who depend on benefactors who exercise authority. Christ's ministers and true Christians do not depend upon systems of social welfare that force the contributions of the people like the corban of the Pharisees which made the word of God to none effect. Many people have been deceived to go the way of Balaam and the Nicolaitan and out of The Way of Christ.

The Christian conflict of the first century Church appointed by Christ was because they would not apply to the fathers of the earth for benefits but instead relied upon a voluntary network providing a daily ministration to the needy of society through Faith, Hope, and Charity by way of freewill offerings of the people, for the people, and by the people through the perfect law of liberty in Free Assemblies according to the ancient pattern of Tuns or Tens.

The modern Christians are in need of repentance.

"Follow me!" —Jesus the Christ.

Mark 10:42-43 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. Luke 22:25-26 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
