The issue of homosexuality is a volatile and emotional issue that should be approached with patience and love, compassion and a true desire to understand and aid all who come to examine the phenomenon and the condition.
If anger, impatience, fear, or guilt are stirred in the reader they will not be able to hear objectively. The intent is not to make you comfortable or uncomfortable but to set you free. The truth will set you free if you can find the patience and love to handle the truth.
This is not about marriage as a civil contract, Civil Rights nor is it about different types of love. It is about observations concerning the debates and controversies surrounding homosexuality including the suggestion that it is or is not a choice.
Spiritual DNA and the tracking of Trauma.
SEX, noun from the Latin sexus; from the Latin seco, to divide.
Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
Whether you believe in God or not most all mammals are divided into male and female.
Gender is from the Latin genus, from geno, gigno;from the Greek to beget, or to be born; in English it is defined, "Properly, kind" or "A sex, male or female."
Sex and gender as a term of biological division are basically referring to the same distinctions. They are both the biological division of the two kinds mammals called male and female.
When St Thomas Moore was arguing at his trial for refusimg to acknowledge Henry VIII could make himself the head of the Roman Catholic Church of England he stated: “Some men say the earth is flat. Some men say the earth is round. But if it is flat. Could Parliament make it round? And if it round. Could the king's command flatten it?”
A standard biological division at birth is apparent genitalia but also there is the XX and XY chromosome.
No one is able to change a male to a female nor a female to a male. At best they can undergo mutalating surgery and induce an embalance in hormones.
Transgenders do not alter their gender except in their imagination. To encourage or unnaturally "affirm" their delusion especially with irreversible and experimental intervention may be a disservice to them during their life.

Normal not Natural

The research and clinical literature suggesting that same-sex sexual "behaviors are normal and positive variations of human sexuality" is patently absurd from the point of view of biology and the reproduction of society because they are not fruitful behaviors within society. This is a natural biological fact of society and how society reproduces itself. Ultimately the pursuit of such unnatural behaviors are centered in self gratification of emotional and physical desires or mere dominance and control within elements of justification.

This is not to say that heterosexual behavior cannot also be centered in self gratification of emotional and physical desires. Biologically in heterosexual intercourse there is a natural purpose of reproduction that is not present in homosexual acts.

While nature provides the reward of endorphin release in the mind and body during sexual encounter the natural purpose of sexual exchange is not simply pleasure but reproduction. Pleasure and comfort is not a mere biological byproduct of sexual encounters but can provide socioeconomic benefits which increases the natural bonds between a man and a woman that may be important in the continued natural duties of nurturing after sexually reproduction.

The binding of a man and women together through the pleasurable rewards of intimacy aids in keeping the family unit intact during the raising of offspring which provides a more stable environment for the fruit of that intimacy as the offspring mature. The sexual intimacy does not stand alone but also requires other social virtues in the creation of more permanent social bonds within the complex human relationship.

To reduce the sexual interaction to a fruitless interaction for only the purpose of self gratification is to pervert the natural use. This does not require degrees or long complex arguments but is a simple common sense observation for any one who wishes to honestly examine the truth about homosexuality.

This is not to say that homosexual desires are not natural in some people or that their desires are beyond their personal control but simply that it is a deviation from the primary purpose of biological sex and its natural function.

To simply say homosexual behavior is a sin is lacking many consideration and does not take into consideration the nature of sin nor the cause of any dysphoria concerning natural biology and what would be considered the resulting behavior of a given sex.

We live in a cause and effect universe and to misidentify the cause often produces an undesired effect.

Psychiatric Shift

Psychologists were one of the first to study homosexuality as a discrete phenomenon. The previous view of homosexuality in terms of pathological models was that it was a disorder of the mind or even a mental illness. Today behavioral and social sciences has begun to oppose the classification of homosexuality as a mental disorder.

"The American Psychological Association Task Force on Appropriate Therapeutic Responses to Sexual Orientation conducted a systematic review of the peer-reviewed journal literature on sexual orientation change efforts (SOCE) and concluded that efforts to change sexual orientation are unlikely to be successful and involve some risk of harm, contrary to the claims of SOCE practitioners and advocates. Even though the research and clinical literature demonstrate that same-sex sexual and romantic attractions, feelings, and behaviors are normal and positive variations of human sexuality, regardless of sexual orientation identity, the task force concluded that the population that undergoes SOCE tends to have strongly conservative religious views that lead them to seek to change their sexual orientation. Thus, the appropriate application of affirmative therapeutic interventions for those who seek SOCE involves therapist acceptance, support, and understanding of clients and the facilitation of clients’ active coping, social support, and identity exploration and development, without imposing a specific sexual orientation identity outcome." ^[1]

The American Psychiatric Association has shifted its position and now has condemned "psychiatric treatment, such as reparative or conversion therapy which is based upon the assumption that homosexuality per se is a mental disorder or based upon the a priori assumption that the patient should change his/her sexual homosexual orientation."^[2]

While it may be true that SOCE may be ineffectual and in some cases harmful the problem may not be with the conclusion that homosexuality is against the natural biological use of our given sexuality but with the methods and motivation of the SOCE (“sexual orientation change efforts”) practitioners.

Encouraging addiction

The drinking and eating disorders of people may be just as much a compulsion as sexual orientation. And people may be drawn or even compelled beyond their personal control toward alcoholism, drug use or obesity by natural inheritance as well as emotional trauma and addiction. No one would dare say that these individuals or members of society cannot change these unfruitful and sometimes even destructive behavior or damaging practices. No one would think it is okay to buy alcohol for or encourage an alcoholic to drink.

The changing of compulsive behavior often requires a more in depth approach to the problem or practice than many are willing to make. Many of the conditions labelled as problematic are really only symptoms of deeper issues. Treating the symptom seldom helps in overcoming the problem. In fact such treatment may merely mask the real problem behind more symptoms and/or side effects.

Ideas that become accepted in the mind as unchangable facts can become immune to reason being rooted deeper in the mind of men than they are willing to go.

To even question those ideas is often perceived as a personal attack and source of anger and fear. If someone can be groomed^[3] to accept an idea or a pattern of behavior that behavior is not the product of birth but of external influence that may have infected the individual.

You cannot rightfully address the mentally accepted behavior without addressing the mental influence of the grooming and the presence of the vulnerability that allowed the grooming to become effective.

It may also be true that strongly conservative religious views that lead an individual to seek to change themselves in their sexual orientation are often motivating and even driving the process through a form of ideological grooming. Their own religious beliefs may be a product of preprogrammed religious practices and rituals that resulted in their own Mass Formation of Psychosis.

Physician heal thyself

Replacing one trauma with another is not a solution. The truth is that the religious orientation of the practitioner who has often already become a victim of the changing definition of words like Religion, faith, and their accompanying mental grooming.

Because of biblical objection and admonitions of homosexual behavior religious views often find themselves at odds with the present political and social pressures to accept homosexuality as a natural phenomenon.

Religion itself can be an opiate of the people depending on how you define the term. If it is defined as the pious practice and performance of your duty to your fellowman religion is simply a voluntary system of social welfare based on love of your neighbor's life as much as your own through fervent charity a good consequence of social bonds that lead to freedom are strengthened.

But if you are going to define Religion as your personal or collective opinion as to the origins and cause of the universe or the opinions of a supreme being then religion coupled with pride and personal agendas may become an opiate to the mind. There will inevitably an acceptance of covetous practices that lead to bondage as the masses degenerate and seek a central power to alleviate their fears such as a monarch and a king.

As the family is continually undermined by New Deals and marriage is redefined the masses will institute the rule of force more and more because of their appetite for benefits is never satisfied.

Changing

The changing of theDiagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) has become a practice that has led to an increase in the number of people who are considered to be mentally ill while removing the label :disorder" from those who clearly have a confusion about their biological identity which their mental and emotional state cannot support or coexist with.

" In September 2012, the California legislature passed Senate Bill 1172 (SB 1172), which prohibits licensed psychotherapists from engaging in “sexual orientation change efforts” (SOCE) with minor patients. This unprecedented statute aims to prevent any mental health professional from using techniques—commonly known as “conversion therapy” or “reparative therapy”—that attempt to eliminate homosexual attraction or foster heterosexual attraction when treating a minor patient.^[4] ^[5]

While this treatment of minor patient has been outlawed in California parents have been praised for ordering hormone therapy and irreversible sex changes for minors causing permanent damage to the natural body of children.

A mental disorder, also called a mental illness or psychiatric disorder, is a mental or behavioral pattern or anomaly that causes either suffering or an impaired ability to function in ordinary life (disability), and which is not a developmental or social norm. The fact that a male thinks he is attracted sexually to other males keeps him from a normal life if a normal life in society includes the reproduction of society. Throughout nature and even according to evolutionists procreation is a natural and fundamental part of the natural order of society. Homosexual behavior impairs the ability to function in ordinary life as nature intends.

Religious hatred or bigotry and social stigmas often compound the nature of the problem or disorder bringing an element of emotional distress and therefore suffering.

Numerous studies of twins in different countries give no support that homosexuality is genetic and if it were and the evolutionist is correct any gay gene if it did exist would soon be weeded out of the genetic pool of society. SOCE practitioners seeks to change the mental state and emotional addiction of the homosexual with limited success because homosexuality is not the problem but rather a symptom within society.

While we seem to see homosexual behavior condemned in the Old Testament understanding the problem will take a lot more than mere hate speech and accusations or their banning. Most of the people who like to point the abomination finger at homosexuals have similar confusions or disorders about the meaning of Religion and the Gospel of the kingdom.

The author Michael Brown who wrote a book "Can You Be Gay and Christian?" wrote the statement in one of his articles "How can they say to their gay friends, "I love you and I want you to be happy, but I cannot affirm your 'marriage' to your partner"?

The Christian position is "I love you and I want you to be happy seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness" or what early Christians called "The Way". Just because you disagree with someone or think that gay relations are an unnatural use of our natural body does not mean you do not love someone.

The Bible is clear "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent." Revelation 3:19 A Hebrew word translated "sin" means "to miss the way" and to kindly inform people they are missing "the way" is love. Jesus ate with sinners, not make them happy in their sin, but to set them free from the wrong ways so they might bear fruit worthy of repentance.

If Homosexuality is not a choice nor genetic but simply symptom within society of being off the path of nature's righteousness then what practices or elements of society are causing a rise in homosexuality?

Change

The homosexual may not be able to simply change themselves. In some cases changing a person physically might be easier than changing their mental sexuality through psychological means. But neither action may actually address the cause of the sexual confusion or physical/emotional dialectical dichotomy.

Paul seems to support the idea that the homosexual cannot change himself. In Romans 1 he emphasizes in verses 26 and 28 that the homosexual is given over to his present mental state. His or her obsession with the same sex is caused by other things and is not a choice. So the homosexual is right to say that he or she cannot change themselves. It is not merely a mental choice.

We will need to look deeply into our own hearts to find peace and resolution concerning these issues.

Romans 1:22 "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,"

Ryan Sorba claims that "No one is born gay, the idea is ridiculous."^[6]

In this lecture, Ryan Sorba discusses the reason some people still believe that being gay is a natural and unchangeable condition even though there is zero scientific evidence and plenty of admissions that the claim was made for political purposes. 32:26 min Part two 24:20 min

There was a clear agenda for promotion of a natural cause of homosexuality by those who became homosexual after sexual trauma at an early age. But that does not address the fertile ground in society nor the root cause of this shift and change of what has been primal and natural use. We know of Romans 1:24 "Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:..." But what is the driving force in society today behind this change? What was it in Rome? Have the people been Romans 1:22 "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools..."?

The Cause

The American Psychological Association (APA) and Royal College of Psychiatrists acknowledge that sexual orientation scientific theories that sexual orientation is caused by a combination of biological and postnatal environmental factors. The APA adds that despite much research into the genetic, hormonal, developmental, social, and cultural influences on sexual orientation, "no findings have emerged that permit scientists to conclude that sexual orientation is determined by any particular factor or factors."

On interesting observation among Anthropologists had to do with uncompetitive primitive cultures. Those that do not elevate or distinguish the best hunters by praise or reward in the tribe have virtually no homosexuality. Competition for position and acceptance may play a more important factor. It has also been suggested the more older brothers in a family may increase the likelihood of homosexual tendency. This again may be the result of subtle competition and male dominance.

Some have suggested that homosexuality within herds is natural because of members of a heard mounting one another. That mounting usually produces either pecking order with in a herd. So again it is about domination and position and not sexual orientation.

Social factors

There seems to be a connection between Socialist ideologies and acceptance of homosexuality. Prominent socialists who acceptance of homosexuality include Edward Carpenter, Daniel Guérin, Harry Hay, Bayard Rustin, and Oscar Wilde, among many others.

This is not to say that socialist states have apparently expressed a backlash rejection of homosexuality. We find in some states in the USSR continue to ascribe legal punishments on sodomy.

Is there a connection to the socialist state and an increase in homosexuality?

In most societies the family was the core of social welfare. Society was born and raised within the family which was the reproductive unit of society. Under socialism the family is less important.

"Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee." Exodus 20:12

The word דבכ kabad KafBeitDalet is the same word for honor we see in Exodus 20:12 “Honour thy father and thy mother...”

Kabed and Kabad are actually both the same exact Hebrew letters Kaf Beit Dalet

Kaf may mean something like “The Power to Actualize Potential”.

Beit is said to mean “God’s Dwelling Place”.

Dalet t is associated with the idea of Selflessness – Charity

The same three letters word דבכ is given the Strong's number 03514 and are translated heavy twice and grievousness or great number once each. It is defined as “weight, heaviness, mass, great... mass, abundance...

The same exact three letters word דבכ which we see as liver appears as Strong's number 3515 translated great 8 times, grievous 8, heavy 8, sore 4, hard 2, much 2, slow 2, and hardened, heavier, laden, thick once each. It is defined with the meanings “heavy, great, massive, abundant, numerous, dull, hard, difficult, burdensome, very oppressive, numerous, rich.”

How can the same word that means liver also mean heavy, hardened, honour, glorious, chargeable, sore, grievous, slow or thick, etc.? See Sophistry

What was foolish here?

He forced an offering of the people to support his army for he feared the enemy.

Israel operated on freewill offerings... later they began to care for the needy with forced offerings through a socialist system of Corban.

Such systems lead the people to be selfish and greedy for benefits and break down the bans of love and charity, neglecting hope and faith. Every time a society goes that way of forced offerings where men call themselves benefactors but exercise authority you see a rise in homosexuality along with many other symptoms of a selfish and decaying society.
