There are numerous occurrences of the phrase "cast out" in the Bible. Even in the Greek they are not all from the same words. And then there is also "cut off"[1] which appears almost two and have more times and other versions of the same idea.

The most common word is ekballo.[2]

There are other ways to arrange the some terms in the Greek such as what we see in Matthew 5:13 which tells us of salt that looses its flavor being to be cast <ballo>[3] out <exo>[4], and to be trodden under foot of men.

In John we see the additional word tacked onto the verse.

John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will <ekballo> in no wise cast <ekballo> out <exo>.

John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world now shall <ekballo>the prince of this world be cast <ekballo> out <exo>.

Also we several combinations of words used in Acts:

Acts 27:38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship <4143>, and cast out <ekballo> the wheat into the sea.

And in Revelation:

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon <1404> was cast out <906>, that old serpent , called the Devil <1228>, and Satan <4567>, which deceiveth <4105> the whole <3650> world <3625>: he was cast out <906> into <1519> the earth <1093>, and his angels were cast out <906> with him.

Revelation 12:15 And the serpent <3789> cast <906> out of <ek>[8] his <846> mouth <4750> water <5204> as <5613> a flood <4215> after <3694> the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood <4216>.

Revelation 12:16 And the earth <1093> helped the woman, and the earth <1093> opened her <846> mouth, and <2532> swallowed up the flood which the dragon <1404> cast <906> out of <ek> his mouth.
