Talk:Strangers and pilgrims

The term resident is not found in the bible but as a legal term we mind find evidence of its nature. Many will claim they are not a resident but will often only be able to do so by hiding their origins. I do not object to that but I cannot deny that they are not entering the kingdom merely by keeping such secrets from the world. They are certainly not entering by the gate...

We know that a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) is "Any person not a citizen of the United States who is residing the in the U.S. under legally recognized and lawfully recorded permanent residence as an immigrant. Also known as "Permanent Resident Alien," "Resident Alien Permit Holder," and "Green Card Holder." These are actually foreign to the US but here by permission.

If the world can find and can prove by the record that any such person exists they can regulate their status. Also if someone is in the country without such status the world may choose to deport them to the land of their origin.

Their only real salvation is the asylum state established by Christ to be His government.

Now someone born in America has no place to be deported to so in their case they would have another issue to deal with. The world could look for evidence that that individual had been placed on their civic altars even as a child and then hold them by the debt of their parents, This is why the Bible clearly states that a parent may curse their children with their covetous practices.

Those individuals may keep their origins a secret from the world so that they know not what to do with them but it would be better to enter at the gate rather than give the appearance of evil as merely a run away slave or subject.

Christians were accused of being evildoers because they were not a ember or resident of Rome and did not swear by the genius of the emperors. They had their own religion, their own system of social welfare. This is explained in http://www.preparingyou.com/wiki/Christian_conflict

Those claiming to be Christians but not providing that system used by the early Christians are not really a part of the city of light.

My point in the article http://www.preparingyou.com/wiki/Strangers_and_pilgrims was that Hebrews was talking about those prior to Christ being strangers and pilgrims but that Jesus appointed a city of light and righteousness. This is what the early church was and should be now. It is the asylum state. It is where we should be resident.

We see definitions of words like "Residency is the act of establishing or maintaining a residence in a given place." But it is also defined " Residency is a concept which heavily affects a the legal rights and responsibilities that are available to a person, including eligibility to vote, eligibility to stand for political office, eligibility to access government services, responsibility to pay taxes, and on and so forth."

In the kingdom appointed by Christ to His apostles there is a residency in His city of light and righteousness which "heavily affects a the legal rights and responsibilities that are available to a person, including eligibility to vote, eligibility to stand for political office, eligibility to access government services, responsibility to pay taxes, and on and so forth."

Our vote is our votive offering which like the half shekel of ancient Israel, which was the kingdom of God. This makes as eligible to be Elders or Minister which also gives us access to His government services and of course that would also mean that we have a responsibility to pay tithes, and on and so forth. It is in that Network that every Christian may attend to the Weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith which include caring for the needs of our neighbors and the widows and orphans of our society through Pure Religion in matters of health, education, and welfare. We are NOT to provide for the needy of society through the Covetous Practices and the men who call themselves benefactors but who exercise authority one over the other like the socialists do.

The Way of Christ was like neither the way of the world of Rome nor the governments of the gentiles who depend on those fathers of the earth through force, fear and fealty who deliver the people back in bondage again like they were in Egypt. Christ's ministers and true Christians do not depend upon systems of social welfare that force the contributions of the people like the corban of the Pharisees which made the word of God to none effect. Many people have been deceived to go the way of Balaam and the Nicolaitan and out of The Way of Christ and have become workers of iniquity.

The Christian conflict with Rome in the first century Church appointed by Christ was because they would not apply to the fathers of the earth for their free bread but instead relied upon a voluntary network providing a daily ministration to the needy of society through Faith, Hope, and Charity by way of freewill offerings of the people, for the people, and by the people through the perfect law of liberty in Free Assemblies according to the ancient pattern of Tuns or Tens as He commanded.

The modern Christians are in need of repentance.

"Follow me!" —Jesus the Christ.

. I also started a study of 1 Peter 2 to help people understand what the early church was doing and what the law of Christ and even Moses, which were in agreement would actually produce. They would not produce a scattered flock...
  1. Matthew 20:25-26 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
Mark 10:42-43 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
Luke 22:25-26 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
