What is mutual assurance or a health share?

It is a network of people who help one another by making personal commitments to do so. There are numerous ways to do this. One that works something like insurance without a central depository of funds and investment by those who administrate that fund.

Good Samaritan Ministries is a Medical share program with differences from what the early Church did.

  • Good Samaritan Medical Share health care takes an annual membership fee.
  • An amount like an insurance premium is paid by members to the people that have medical expenses that are covered on a list.
  • There is some oversight.
  • They have some exemption from the new medical care systems of the world.
  • In really hard times and for other emergencies there is no connection or relationships established between the members.

While these systems do work for health care in good times they have some fundamental weaknesses. There are some problems with this system that stray from what the early Church was doing and from what Christ was doing and telling us to do.

Our neighbor uses Good Samaritan but he is isolated from any real help in hard times. He may get health care now and can avoid government fines because he can show and accepted provider but he does not have the assurance that accompanied early Christians who followed the way of Christ.

His local pastor is called to see if his application has some truth to it but his local church does not think they have any obligation to help his family in any meaningful way. They believe that is the job of a government that calls itself a Benefactor but exercises authority,

We offer an alternative and set the scene for your understanding with a look at the history of health care and welfare for early Christians with #Life and Death, and offer a solution with #LIFE Share.[1]

Health Share Testimonies

"None of the health shares guarantee payment. In fact they make that very well known up front. This was actually adjudicated in ky and several other states when they tried to place them under the states insurance pools. Some states still working it out and you cannot get sharing accounts in those states." RH

While these systems are close to kingdom and the early church they fail in several areas.

  • They do not create the bonds of local networks which may extend to all areas of the need and care of members of a society beyond mere healthcare.
  • They do not build network of personal ministers who can provide both oversight and professional assistance and also tap resources of a larger national or even international network.
  • None of the bonds of society are cultivated in Health share programs which we see manifested in the early Church.

By forming a network of love and charity for one another we may build the bonds of the kingdom. Starting to pay negotiated healthcare costs, sharing more productive health care options, by sharing and teaching health care, business, educational and personal finance lessons we have learned we began to return to the ways of the kingdom taught by Christ by investing freely in the welfare of one another. This is love in action.

Life and Death

Temple of Saturn was where Romans stored, among other things, their documents of birth registration. Almost all the temples provided some government service and were a part of the Imperial Cult of Rome.

The conflict between Christians and the people who persecuted them in the early days of the Church was mostly over their system of social welfare which was managed through their temples like Ephesus, Temple of Saturn and the Parthenon. The Christians depended on a Holy temple made of living stones which was a network of people living by the perfect law of liberty and faith, hope and charity. Those that had shared with those who had true needs.

Our modern ideas of religion differ from the meaning of the word in the days the Bible was written. Pure religion was a religion rooted in charity alone and not defiled by the force and abuses of the world.

Celsus, a Platonist, writing during the term of Marcus Aurelius, “opposed the ‘sectarian’ tendencies at work in the Christian movement because he saw in Christianity a ‘privatizing’ of religion, the transferal of religious values from the public sphere to a private association.” [4]

Celsus' writings no longer survive in tact, but we have access to some of his work when Origen quotes passages for the purpose of refuting what he claimed. The following is one of those quoted passages.

"Jesus had come from a village in Judea, and was the son of a poor Jewess who gained her living by the work of her own hands. His mother had been turned out of doors by her husband, who was a carpenter by trade, on being convicted of adultery [with a soldier named Panthéra (i.32)]. Being thus driven away by her husband, and wandering about in disgrace, she gave birth to Jesus, a bastard. Jesus, on account of his poverty, was hired out to go to Egypt. While there he acquired certain (magical) powers which Egyptians pride themselves on possessing. He returned home highly elated at possessing these powers, and on the strength of them gave himself out to be a god." Origen, Contra Celsum 1.28 Translation

The difference between public and private welfare is the difference between socialism and charity. The nation of Rome and those of the Pax Romana were all going socialist and made the power of the state their benefactors while Christians were living by love for one another in the "union and discipline" of companies of tens according to the commandments of Christ.

Roman Emperor Septimius Severus

This persecution which began under the Emperor Septimius Severus:

  • "Severus returned victorious from having vanquished the kings who had taken part with Nigar against him, he published his cruel edicts against the Christians in the year of Christ 202, the tenth of his reign. But the general laws of the empire against foreign religions, and the former edicts of several emperors against the Christians, were a sufficient warrant to many governors to draw the sword against them before that time; and we find that the persecution was very hot in Africa two years before, under the proconsul Saturninus..." [5]

The emperors maintained the loyalty by the sword and by the temples which supplied free bread and welfare for the people in a welfare state. A welfare state is a "concept of government in which the state plays a key role in the protection and promotion of the economic and social well-being of its citizens. It is based on the principles of equality of opportunity, equitable distribution of wealth, and public responsibility for those unable to avail themselves of the minimal provisions for a good life. The general term may cover a variety of forms of economic and social organization." Welfare state, Britannica Online Encyclopedia

The Church is one form of government that depends upon charity rather than force. As Christians, the six principal among them were Speratus, Marsalis, and Cittinus; and three women, Donata, Secunda, and Vestina, declined the proconsul's offer to them of the emperor’s pardon if they would worship the gods of the Romans, and sign up for their system of Qorban, social welfare. They knew that system of sacrifice made the word of God to none effect. Christians relied upon the Genius of God the Father working through the freewill offerings given in congregations of the Church by faith, hope, and charity.

Vigellius Saturninus, proconsul of Africa in 180 CE, addressed the seeming antisocial behavior of the twelve Scillitan Christian martyrs with the statement, “We too are religious, and our religion is simple, and we swear by the Genius of our lord the emperor, and we apply for his benefits, as you also ought to do.” The true Christians like Speratus, one of the twelve, would not apply to that Emperor for their daily bread and social security or common welfare, but claimed Christ as “Lord, the King of kings” and ruler of all nations saying:

  • "I know not the genius of the emperor of this world; but I serve the God of heaven, whom no mortal man hath ever seen or can see. I never committed any crime punishable by the laws of the state. I pay the public duties for whatever I buy, acknowledging the emperor for my temporal lord; but I adore none but my God, who is the King of kings, and sovereign Lord over all the nations of the world. I have been guilty of no crime, and therefore cannot have incurred punishment."

Most modern Christians are not following in the way of Christ and his system of social welfare by charity alone but have been seeking the system that early Christians died to avoid. The result is that modern society has become fit subjects for tyrants and despots. They have not only weakened the poor but themselves.

Christians should turn around, Repent, and begin to seek the ways of Christ and the prophets by forming charitable systems based not on force but on the love of Christ.

LIFE Share

Those that are a part of the Living Network and have read the book Thy Kingdom Comes understand that altars of clay (families) and altars of stone (ministers) are parts of a system of social welfare that have strengthened societies for much of man's history and kept them free. You also should know that the networking of these families and ministers had a structure and pattern that has been repeated successfully by diligent and virtuous people throughout history.

This was done in several ways and depended on the free exercise of choice, which is liberty and charity, which is love for one another and the love of righteousness that is God.

We seek to bring that better plan...the plan that Christ taught the early Church.

All you need is a network of congregations of record and charitable ministers who can be trusted to keep books.

If someone is ill or any emergency arises in those congregations the people go to church and pray with their minister for help and aid is provided through a living network. Christ, Moses and Abraham appointed ministers as living stones of a charitable altar of what was called the Church. Those ministers are a part of a recorded network of ministers established by two or more witnesses.

All the Elders (heads of every family/altars of clay) are informed in their congregation/free assembly and all the other ministers/living stones in that established congregation of ministers are notified. The other ministers notify their congregations. Gifts to the ministers are collected and distributed including paying directly to the needs of the people. This may be done by paying negotiated bills for medical treatment or providing medication or resources for health and welfare of the family.

The idea is to:

  • Build real relationships within a congregation and network of congregations.
  • Distribution is monitored so as to not squander the offerings.
  • Bills may be negotiated so as to not squander the offerings.
  • Oversight of ministers by a network of ministers and elders themselves determines the honorable meeting of needs to avoid waste and abuse.
  • Alternatives are sought within the resources of a whole network of people seeking to serve and love one another.
  • You are not alone in the time of other calamities of society because a networking system is already established.
  • The people become the benefactors who exercise love for one another which sets them free as they freely provide for one another.

The idea is that congregations of elders come together to be many groups but one flock - His flock of faithful Doers of the Word.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

His Church should be your social welfare. If the Churches today were His Churches they would be attending to the Weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith which include caring for the needs of our neighbors, the widows and orphans of our society through Pure Religion in matters of health, education, and welfare. We are NOT to do so by the Covetous Practices of modern governments.

The Way of Christ was not like the way of the world, nor the governments of the gentiles who depend on benefactors who exercise authority. Christ's ministers and true Christians do not depend upon systems of social welfare that force the contributions of the people like the corban of the Pharisees which made the word of God to none effect. Many people have been deceived to go the way of Balaam and the Nicolaitan and out of The Way of Christ.

The Christian conflict of the first century Church appointed by Christ was because they would not apply to the fathers of the earth for benefits but instead relied upon a voluntary network providing a daily ministration to the needy of society through Faith, Hope, and Charity by way of freewill offerings of the people, for the people, and by the people through the perfect law of liberty in Free Assemblies according to the ancient pattern of Tuns or Tens.

The modern Christians are in need of repentance.

Your ministers should be the benefactors who do not exercise authority one over the other in pure religion

What is given and received as welfare is not a "snare" but a share of one life to another.

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Again - His Church should be your social welfare. You ministers should be the benefactors who do not exercise authority one over the other.

It is not a guarantee either - but true faith, hope and charity.

The multitudes, at least in the USA inc., love their zombie flicks.

What if the zombie apocalypse were already upon us?

What if we are already surrounded with the walking dead who feed on the flesh of mankind?

If we can set aside Hollywood's fantastical gory imagery for a moment and examine the facts of our modern social structure, we could see that this scenario of biting one another is exactly the case.

Even the Messiah, as He walked the earth two thousand years ago, stated in no uncertain terms that there were people who appeared alive, but were actually dead in a very real sense; zombies, if you will.

Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the Kingdom of God.
Matt 8:22, Luke 9:60

The Living and the Dead

Matthew 22:32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

People of the world have become very selfish. They believe that they can covet their neighbor's goods through welfare systems which gives power to men who call themselves Benefactors but exercise authority and go about taking from others so that they will have what they want. The free things they get from government are covered in the blood of their neighbor and being zombies already they are okay with that. The amazing thing is they call themselves Christians even though early Christians would rather die than do that..

The problem is that people do not know they are zombies already. Biting one another has become acceptable.

  • Luke 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
  • Deuteronomy 24:6 No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone to pledge: for he taketh a man’s life to pledge.
  • Proverbs 1:19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
EmbedVideo received the bad id "ZZU62RiCINs?rel=0" for the service "youtube".

This is a snare in our thinking and that does not give life but deadens our hearts to the compassion needed in a free society. To set up systems that give men the power to take from our neighbors for our benefit is dead works and the work of the dead.

  • Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Everyman has a right to their labor and no one should take that away without his or her consent. We should not take from others without their freewill giving or we will be taken from until we cry out and no one hears us.

  • Ecclesiastes 5:18 Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion.

We should take care of the real needs of our neighbors but in a way that gives life through a liberty of individual choice and does not weaken the poor nor strengthen the beast in us all and kills the soul.

  • Luke 20:38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
Don't be a Zombie

This was the message of all the prophets unto Jesus and the early Church. The message of sharing our life with others through a network of living souls caring for one another is a system grandfathered in by the blood of Jesus Christ.

People are often facing the new health care plans that are more than just unchristian. They are based on the state being your benefactor and the state, which James calls the world, exercises authority one over the other to provide their benefits.

  • Matthew 8:22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
  • Luke 9:60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

These systems usurp the role of religion as it was once defined and are not Pure Religion. This is not the way that Christ wants you to live. He does not want you taking from your neighbor by applying to men who exercise authority one over the other.

No Zombies Allowed

Even if it would work for the flesh the price to the soul will be too high. Something has changed in America. We once took care of the needy in our communities without forcing our neighbors to contribute to what we want.

We were a Christian nation but someone has come into our world and carried many off with a new idea, the idea that it is okay to take from others. The whole world seems to come with their hands out to take the sweat and happiness and the life itself from their neighbor. We are in the midst of a Socialist Apocalypse.

  • Mark 12:27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

Governments are often not responsive. Over 70% of the people opposed the new health care plan yet three minutes after Congress got a copy they voted for it.

The problem is in part that a great deal of what is called the right is actually left of center. They are often not doing the job with true love of the people. They are offices of power. But in the beginning the job was yours as the government of the people, for the people and by the people to care for one another. The natural course of society when it depends on charity rather than force was the message of Christ's command to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness, John the Baptist and even the Historian Polybius.

  • Luke 24:5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

So what is the answer?

Where can we find a solution?

Where is the cure for a forced health care system that will not work?

What if I told you that the Mark of the Beast is here already and you have it?

Would you think that was funny?

Would you Laugh out loud?

Stop being a zombie.

Stop being a socialist parasite.

Start caring about one another join the Living Network

The Disease

The Beast systems of the world become a devouring monsters because covetous people sell themselves to it to obtain benefits by biting one another like Zombies. Evil laughs at the foolish who choose to think they are free of his bondage and chuckles at the rebel who is cut from the same mold as he.

Becoming Zombies is often represented as a disease.

You get bit and start biting others.

The same is true of the Werewolf.

What is the disease?

We must isolate the disease to find a cure.

The disease of socialism has infected too much of America along with other infirmities like apathy and sloth. The pro-socialist position in America and the world today is the Zombie Apocalypse of mindless dead souls going about devouring who they will.

They are the heart and soul of the beast.

There is little hope as long as the Zombies can feed on the living. We need health care in the world but it needs to be voluntary and not run by a government filled with zombies and other liberal save-the-zombies advocates.

The cure is forgiveness and repentance.

The Cure

Draining Out the Life

Mark 12:44 For all [they] did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, [even] all her living.

The way to do it is to get out of your slothful pews and create a private system based on real faith, hope and charity and the perfect law of liberty in what James call Pure Religion.

That used to be what Christianity was all about a thousand years ago with its daily ministration. The care and welfare of the people was the job of the church[7] through the love of the people for one another.

Love is the cure for the Zombie Apocalypse.

Is it really Christianity?

But in addition to the Zombies there are the darn werewolves.

Someone let the werewolves into the Church wearing sheep's clothing. And they let the zombies in; to say nothing of the vampire bats in the Church belfry sucking the life out of the people with their hypnotic ways of false religion.

We are supposed to be caring about our neighbor as much as ourselves. Don't be a Zombie.

Christ is the cure.

Be a doer of His word.

Stop looking to the men who call themselves benefactors to provide benefits for you. They are the fathers of the earth which Jesus warned us about. To desire the benefits of their systems of welfare is to oppose the directives of Christ.[8]

We on the living network are looking into our own mutual assurance/Health Share type system through the individual CORE groups.

No Zombies need apply.

  1. A typical share for a family might be $400 per month plus an annual fee. If 100 families contributed 400 dollars a month that would be around 40,000 dollars a month. How much are the medical bills now being paid by all 100 families?
  2. : "We use Liberty Health Share and are pleased. All the others make you take an oath based on their particular belief system that I would not do. They all are basically the same in there operation. But you have to live a biblical life style. And if you lie they just won't share with you if your tests show that your violating the health laws. You know, the ones we don't need to keep any more because they were nailed to the cross and did not mean what they said they mean. They also work with you on getting off all your toxic meds if you are in that rat race. Family plan is about $400 per month regardless of family size. Single is considerably cheaper. We have been net contributors at this point and have paid in much more than we have taken out but it is nice to know if you have a major illness/accident they are there for you. They have paid the few bills we have submitted for sharing. Though I have not had a problem negotiating my health care bills to 10% of charges prior to even submitting them for sharing so rarely even meet my deductible. And we are a family of 10." RH
